This section presents the March ’25 results of the KONDA Inflation Expectations Survey:

  • From March 2024 to this March, that is, over the past year, by what percentage do you think prices have increased on average?
  • In your opinion, by what percentage will prices increase over the next 12 months, from March 2025 to March 2026?
  • In your opinion, by what percentage will prices increase from the beginning to the end of 2025, that is, from January to December?

As of March 2025, the overall decline observed in inflation perceptions and expectations appears to apply across different demographic groups as well. However, political preferences continue to be a determining factor in inflation expectations; the difference in inflation expectations between Erdoğan and İmamoğlu voters stands at 26 percentage points. The gap between the 12-month inflation forecast of those in the worker, tradespeople, and farmer group—identified as the demographic cluster with the highest inflation expectations—and the national average is 4 percentage points. In addition, perceptions regarding the summoning of TÜSİAD executives for questioning also appear to be associated with inflation expectations.
